WWW: Well Women Witness Retreat - Full Blown Program

Letter Writing
Eucharistic Celebration
Women in Prayer
ORACLE Religious Association enters into a contractual agreement with a parish for a full-blown Well Women Witness Program that consists of the (1) “Well Women Witness ~ Letters from Christ” workbooks, (2) WWW Small Prayer Groups Program, and (3) Well Women Witness Retreat.
(1) The “Well Women Witness ~ Letters from Christ,” authored by Sr. Dr. Oralisa Martin, is an interactive written dialogue between Christ and the woman through letter-writing. The workbook guides the woman on how to spiritually prepare for her letter-writing. The workbook consists of ten (10) letters, Christ’s closing letter, and an “Epilogue.”
(2) The Well Women Witness Small Prayer Groups Program is designed to enable women to have personal encounters with Jesus Christ through individual WWW letter-writing as well as within their small prayer groups. Orientation led by ORACLE for the leaders of each WWW Small Prayer Group is essential for the program’s success. Periodic mentoring of Prayer Group leaders keeps them confident and personally growing spiritually. And WWW women groups periodically mentored by ORACLE enrich their spiritual growth. It is important that the members desire the experience, bond together, and are committed to Jesus Christ, His Church, and one another. a. The ten (10) letters in the WWW Letters from Christ workbook serve as the basic content/guide for the WWW Small Prayer Group sessions. Each member is to own a WWW workbook. b. Using the WWW Workbook involves a minimum of 12 prayer group sessions: Orientation (session #1), ten (10) letter sessions (1 session for each letter), and session #12 (the Closing letter, with the “Epilogue”). c. Prayer group meetings are at least twice a month. It is up to members of each small group to determine the forum (in person and/or zoom), frequency, and length of the meetings. A member is permitted to miss a maximum of 2 of the “letter session” meetings. WWW Orientation and Closing sessions are required.
(3) The Well Women Witness Retreat is based on the Gospel of John 4:1-42, the Samaritan woman at the Well. It is a weekend in-person retreat at the parish site. a. ORACE Religious Association tailors the WWW retreat according to the needs of the parish. However, there are salient features that compose the WWW women’s retreat. The salient features are: (i) Welcome, the evening Women at the Well Prayer Service, followed by a sermonic keynote address and meal plus evaluation; (ii) Opening Prayer Service, 3 Keynotes, Letters from Christ, Guided Meditations (Water, Rock, and/or an Oil Meditation), Solemn prayer time (Blessed Sacrament and/or Sacrament of Reconciliation), 3 meals; (iii) Closing Eucharistic Celebration.
b. The parish hall is adorned with African fabric, appropriate table center pieces, and icons provided by ORACLE. c. Appropriate space, sound, lighting, set-ups/take downs, clean-ups and security are the parish responsibilities.
